STOP THREE: Ennis Public Theatre
113 North Dallas Street
Welcome to Stop 3 of the Rails, Bales and Bluebonnet Trails historic downtown Ennis walking tour. The Ennis Public Theatre began as the dream of a husband and wife who had a vision for bringing theatre to an underserved area, thus creating a cultural center. Ennis Public Theatre became a non-profit organization in 2004 and moved to historic downtown Ennis in 2017. This building was originally the Ennis State Bank and now serves as a destination that entertains, educates, encourages and inspires. Community truly drives our theatre, and you have a special invitation to experience it right here in historic downtown Ennis.
