Welcome to Stop 1 of the Rails, Bales and Bluebonnet Trails historic downtown Ennis walking tour. The Ennis Welcome Center stands at the entrance of our historic downtown Ennis. Located at 201 NW Main Street, the Welcome Center welcomes tens of thousands of guests every year who come for the bluebonnets, to experience Ennis’ year-round events or to stop in for a fun day trip. The one-story brick structure features a clock tower, a bluebonnet-themed public art installation, tourism and visitor information services, interactive displays, and a large space for events. This is the starting point of your bluebonnet spirit adventure, where you’re greeted with a warm “hey y’all” and Ennis feels like home.
